Beautiful! Is that castle (pic) the Loch Ness Castle that you mentioned in the text? Or is it another one?

@wen: The Urquhart Castle by Loch Ness I only have a glimpse of in the video as we drive by it.

The buildings in the pictures in this posts are; a hotel in Aviemore, a church in Fort William and the university in Glasgow.

@Bluefish: Thanks Scotland seems like a good place to hitchhike. However the weather can be tricky and that can make getting a ride difficult. Ive read that HHing is quite common in the more remote areas in the highlands and on the islands. Id say HHing in Scotland is at least as safe as the rest of western Europe. Using common sense and following some general guidelines is a good idea.
